Frequently Asked Questions

Is it Safe?

Yes.  Low level lasers, also known as soft lasers, are completely safe and painless.  They do not cut, burn or contain any radio-activity.  There are no negative side effects associated with the treatment, and the laser itself is no more powerful than a 60-watt light bulb.

What Does It Cost?

The treatment costs $299. ($299.00 includes four treatments.)  At a pack a day, that's about eight weeks worth of cigarettes.  We also provide free education about nicotine addiction and a detoxification program with antioxidants.  For the benefit of your health, our Smoking Cessation program is an excellent value.

How Long Does It Take?

Laser therapy treatment takes approximately 20 minutes.

Where Do You Place The Laser?

The laser is placed on various meridian and auricular points, specifically on the ears, face and hands.

What Will I Feel During the Treatment?

You will immediately experience a feeling of relaxation and a state of well being.  The laser treatment is completely painless.  Some clients report a slight warm or tingling sensation.

Is It Covered By Insurance?

The treatment is currently not covered by health insurance. At a pack a day, the $2,000 to $3,000 annual expenditure of cigarettes greatly exceeds the minimal cost of the treatment.  For the benefit of your health, our program is an excellent value.

How Effective Is It?

Studies abroad show higher success rates with laser therapy treatment for smoking cessation than any other nicotine replacement methods, such as the gum, patch or drugs.

How Many Treatments Are Required?

Four treatments are recomended for the highest sucess rate. They should be completed in a two week period for Best results.

What Do I Need To Do Prior To Treatment?

Dispose of all smoking paraphernalia in your home such as lighters, ashtrays, packs of cigarettes, etc.

I Have a Specific Medical Condition.  Can I Still Be Treated?

We regret that we are not able to treat you if you have cancer, or are undergoing radiation or chemotherapy.  Also, if you are pregnant or have epilepsy, you will be ineligible for the treatment.  We are currently not treating these particular clients as a precautionary measure.  Laser therapy is not intended to replace medical care.  We recommend that you consult your physician for a professional diagnosis of your health.
